State Council in May, 1993. There have been more than
300 overseas-funded enterprises with investors from 30
countries and regions including America, Japan, Britain,
Germany,Sweden,Italy, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The total investment
has reached US$2.85 billion while contracted investment
has amounted to US$1.64 billion
