Location & Transportation

Located in southeastern coastal area of China and on the southern bank of Qiangtang River, XETZ is a traffic hub in Zhejiang province with an advantageous location and convenient transportation.

Airport: Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, one of the important main airports in China, is 15-minute ride by car to XETZ.
160 domestic and international regular air routes have been opened reaching 108 cities.
Its passenger throughput in 2013 was 22.114 million people, and cargo throughput 0.368 million tons.
12 large-scale logistics enterprises including Fedex have set up transshipment centers here.

Highway: With Hangzhou belt expressway connected with such expressways as Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo, Hangzhou-Pudong, Hangzhou-Qiandao Lake, Hangzhou-Anhui, Hangzhou-Nanjing, Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou and airport expressway, it takes no more than three hours to reach 15 central cities in the Yangtze River Delta.

Railway: Zhejiang-Jiangsu and Xiaoshan-Ningbo railways are converged in Xiaoshan, and it takes only 50 minutes to arrive in Shanghai by Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed railway.

Waterways: It is 180 km from Shanghai port, 150 km from Ningbo port, and 70 km from Zapu port through Qianjiang Tunnel.
Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the north-to-south water-traffic corridor in eastern China, can directly reach the east of Zhejiang province through the Hangzhou-Ningbo canal.

Metro: Hangzhou metro line 1, line 2, line 5 go through downtown Xiaoshan with line 2 across Shibei New City, one part of the development zone.
